| redesign of logos and branding, house styles
The logo is the heart of each company and should be unique and easy to recognize. When a change to the logo is required, it should not be altered in the uniqueness but transformed into a state of balance and harmony, strength and maturity and adjusting so that it suits this day and age. Consistent use of the logo throughout all media is the only way to go when building a brand.Portfolio of redesigned logos
Logo redesigns mostly come with the request for a complete make-over of the entire marketing kit. Below are examples to learn from and to give you a good idea of our approach.| >> 1 - 7 | >> 8 - 9 | |
KEY

Housestyle and logo redesign of Dutch consultant company KEY. We advised client to keep as much as possible from his logo to preserve his trustworthy image he had built up being active for 2 years, when he ordered the logo and a complete marketing kit. We harmonized the arrangement of the letters and have chosen a very business like and classy approach using wine red, medium gray and a nearly black sophisticated color scheme complimented with white. We designed the calling cards. The backside has 3 colored images symbolizing Knowledge solid as rock. Energy as the life spending sun light and Yield as the harvest clients of KEY can expect. Complimenting very colorful and unexpected the business like front side, adding a distinctive touch. In the package were the stationery and PowerPoint master templates for presentations and e-mail template. To the left is the old logo, which client disliked - he wanted to appear more serious and professional but not too plain traditional therefore implementing on the backside of the calling cards and in the footer of the stationery the 3 colorful metaphors gave a fresh and unexpected touch. |
Servicetrace

Servicetrace is a German Software company. Visual Orange has redesigned the logo, delivered calling cards, power point templates, white paper templates and templates for e-mails, as well as the company profile that can be send as mail to potential clients. The font in the logo is the bold variation of the same font-family as used for the former logo. The logo now looks more stabile and communicates greater strength. To the left in the middle you can see the old logo. The logo looks fragile and the tag line is smudgy. Registered is just an unreadable dot. The bow is hanging on as it is not really a part of a whole and looks a bit aslope, tipped over. The Servicetrace logo formerly was used in many different makings. To the left, at the bottom you see another version of the logo that was used for the web site and there was yet another version for the software applications the company produced. Therefore the logo had so many different looks and it was so inconsistent that people simply didn't recognize it and the public eye wasn't produced with one tangible brand image to memorize. |
